Yitzhak Rabin Exhibition | תערוכה יצחק רבין ז״ל

במלאת 20 שנה לרצח ראש הממשלה יצחק רבין ז״ל, פנה אלי מרכז רבין בבקשה לעצב תערוכה לזכרו במוזיאון רבין.
צוות המארגנים ביקש להציב בתערוכת את הכרזות הזוכות בתחרות הכרזות שפירסם המוזיאון (20 כרזות בסה״כ), ולחפות את קירות המבואה של המוזיאון בחומרים הניתנים להסרה בתום התערוכה.
עיצוב התערוכה נחלק ל-4:
1. פינת זיכרון עם תמונתו של רבין ז״ל ממש בכניסה למוזיאון.
2. חיפוי קירות המסדרון המוביל מהכניסה לרחבה המרכזית עם קורות חייו של רבין ומילות ״שיר הרעות״ שהוא כל כך אהב ושאת מילותיו נשא בכיסו בליל הרצח.
3. רחבה מרכזית שבה הוצב תא תיעוד ״היכן הייתי בליל הרצח?״, בו יכולים המבקרים להקליט את זכרונותיהם מיום זה.
4. מסדרון צידי שבו הוצבו הכרזות הזוכות בתחרות העיצוב שקיים המוזיאון.

On the 20th anniversary of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin z"l, the Rabin Center approached me with a request to design a memorial exhibition at the Rabin Museum.
The organizing team wanted to showcase the 20 winning posters from the museum's poster competition and apply removable wall decals to the entrance hall for the duration of the exhibition.
The exhibition design was divided into 4 parts:
1. A memorial corner with a photo of Rabin right at the museum entrance.
2. Wall cladding of the corridor leading from the entrance to the main plaza, featuring Rabin's biography and the lyrics of "Shir HaRe'ut" – the song he loved so dearly and whose lyrics he carried in his pocket on the night of the assassination.
3. A main plaza where a documentation booth was placed – "Where were you on the night of the assassination?" – in which visitors could record their memories of that day.
4. A side corridor where the winning posters from the museum's design competition were displayed.
